Hisense marks 30 years in SA with R500 000 in rewards vouchers

Hisense SA is marking its 30th anniversary in South Africa with the Hisense Technology Experience 2026. The event brings new product launches, hands-on demonstrations and family activities to Cavendish Court at Menlyn Mall in Pretoria from 20 October to 2 November 2026.

The two-week experience gives consumers an opportunity to explore Hisense’s latest products across premium TVs, laser technology, refrigeration, home appliances and mobile devices. From discovering big-screen entertainment to testing refrigeration features, visitors can see the technology in action and learn how it fits into their everyday lives.

The programme includes two product launches: the latest RGB MiniLED TVs, launched on 22 October, and the Pureview H820FSB-IMV refrigerator, launching on 26 October.

This activation is about giving consumers a reason to get closer to the technology itself, not just the products on a shelf

“This activation is about giving consumers a reason to get closer to the technology itself, not just the products on a shelf,” says Luna Nortje, deputy GM at Hisense SA.

“Visitors can explore product features through demonstrations and activities designed for the whole family. Children can enjoy interactive games on the Hisense digital interactive board, while a camping-inspired entertainment zone will showcase portable Hisense laser technology with Disney content. The Refrigeration Freshness Challenge introduces consumers to Hisense’s latest refrigeration technology through an interactive freshness test, product demonstrations and opportunities to win prizes. Across the stand, consumers can also explore home appliances and mobile devices, ask questions and discover the benefits of the products on display.”

The event forms part of Hisense’s “30 Years of Growing with South Africa” campaign, recognising three decades of local manufacturing, employment, skills development and community investment.

    R500 000 in vouchers

A national rewards programme gives consumers across the country a chance to share in the 30th anniversary celebrations, with R500 000 in vouchers up for grabs. From 20 October to 2 November 2026, consumers who buy qualifying Hisense products from retailers such as New World, Game, HiFi Corp and Incredible Connection qualify for a guaranteed R500 digital reward voucher. It can be redeemed as a Checkers or Shoprite grocery voucher, an Uber Eats voucher or a TLC Travel national flight voucher.

Purchases of any Hisense RGB MiniLED or MiniLED TV from participating retailers also qualify for a R500 reward voucher. To claim, customers must scan the in-store QR code or visit the campaign microsite and submit a clear proof of purchase. Once the purchase is verified, the voucher will be sent by SMS or e-mail.

Customers who buy the Pureview H820FSB-IMV refrigerator can also enter a draw to win one of 10 R3 000 Checkers or Shoprite grocery vouchers, in addition to any R500 voucher for which they qualify.

    Hisense SA Menlyn Mall

Through the “Buy. Bring. Win” promotion, consumers in Pretoria who buy a participating product during the campaign period can bring their proof of purchase to the Hisense stand at Cavendish Court and enter a draw to win one of three refrigerators: an H680SIT, an H680SIT-WD or an H695SS-IDL. Activation staff will help with uploading proof of purchase and capturing entry details. Winners will be selected and contacted between 3 and 6 November, and delivery will be arranged within 10 working days after that.

Consumers who buy a Hisense phone from any store in Menlyn Mall during the event can also present their invoice at the Hisense stand to collect a Hisense mobile gift. Consumers should check the campaign terms and conditions for qualifying purchases, participating retailers and reward requirements.
