On Tuesday, 11 May, TechCentral hosted the inaugural TechCentral Debate Series event at the First National Bank conference centre in Sandton, north of Johannesburg.
The event, sponsored by Dimension Data division Internet Solutions, delved into some of the biggest issues affecting the broadband market in SA — our high-level panellists discussed, among other things, the role of wireless and fixed lines in broadband, local-loop unbundling and uncapped vs capped bandwidth.
The Debate Series event was the first in what will be a quarterly panel discussion to discuss the big issues in the information and communications technology industry in SA.
