It’s the weekend, which means it’s time for another episode of TalkCentral, TechCentral’s weekly podcast crammed full of technology analysis and opinion.

In the show this week, your hosts Duncan McLeod and Regardt van der Berg talk Vodacom’s financial results for the first quarter of its 2015 financial year as well as the fact that prepaid consumers are benefit far more than contract customers from the current mobile price war.

Also in the show this week, your hosts chat about Microsoft’s decision to kill off Nokia’s feature phone business. Regardt gives his views on HTC’s new One M8 smartphone, and there’s an update on “Project Cashless”.

Tune in to find out who’s made the cut as winner and loser of the week. And, as always, Duncan and Regardt pick their products or apps of the week — Microsoft OneDrive and Office online (Duncan) and Untappd (Regardt).
