Kredete, the fintech platform serving emerging-market and diaspora communities, has acquired Gravv, an agentic stablecoin infrastructure platform that connects banks, blockchain networks and local payment rails for real-time global money movement. Gravv has processed more than US$3-billion in annualised volume for over a thousand businesses across more than 100 countries, supported by seven global banking partners.

The acquisition brings Kredete’s core money movement infrastructure in-house and gives the company greater control over the layer between the client and the bank: stablecoin settlement, multi-currency accounts, forex, liquidity, routing and reconciliation across global rails. It also enables Kredete to offer that same infrastructure to banks, fintechs, platforms and developers serving emerging markets.

    Stablecoin infrastructure, operated by intelligence

Kredete was founded in 2022 by Adeola Adedewe, with the aim of giving individuals and businesses across emerging markets – whether at home or abroad – access to modern, affordable financial tools that reflect their real economic lives. The company operates a unified platform that enables consumers, businesses and financial institutions to move, convert, hold and settle money globally in real time.

Gravv is the stablecoin infrastructure layer beneath that. Through one integration, it connects multi-currency accounts, global payments, card issuance, treasury, bank partners, blockchain networks and local payout rails. Its agentic layer is designed to monitor liquidity, select routes, manage forex and settlement, and reconcile payments in real time, replacing the fragmented patchwork of vendors that has historically made global financial infrastructure difficult to build.

Since the acquisition, Kredete has opened Gravv to new businesses and developers beyond its existing base, inviting any bank, fintech, platform or builder serving emerging markets to build directly on its infrastructure.

We believe the next trillion dollars in commerce will be initiated and processed by AI agents

“Infrastructure is the moat, and intelligence is the operating layer,” says Adeola Adedewe, founder and CEO of Kredete. “Gravv gives Kredete the stablecoin infrastructure and global rails beneath our consumer and enterprise products, while its agentic capabilities help operate those rails in real time. Together, we are building the autonomous middleware for global money movement.”

“Global payments are not one rail; they are a coordination problem across banks, blockchains, liquidity, compliance and local payout systems,” says Hakeem Oriola, chief technology officer at Kredete. “Gravv brings those rails into one infrastructure layer, and its agentic capabilities help Kredete route, settle and reconcile payments in real time.”

“We believe the next trillion dollars in commerce will be initiated and processed by AI agents,” says Ebuka Arinze, chief product officer at Kredete. “Having already powered millions of transactions for individuals and businesses, we are now building the financial infrastructure agents will need to participate in the global economy.”

By embedding agentic intelligence across Gravv’s bank, blockchain and local payment rails, Kredete says it can route, settle and reconcile transactions in real time, delivering faster payments, greater reliability and better economics for consumers, businesses and financial institutions.
