TalkCentral: Episode 66 – ‘Missed call’

Telkom is dominating the news, and not for all the right reasons. In the latest episode of TalkCentral, your hosts Duncan McLeod and Craig Wilson chat about the company’s annual results, cabinet’s decision not to support the transaction with Korea’s KT Corp and 8ta’s competitive position as a broadband player.

But there’s plenty of other ground covered, too, including MultiChoice’s application for new generic top-level domains, the latest of SA’s fibre-to-the-home player LinkAfrica Group (formerly i3 Africa) and digital set-top boxes.

Our app picks of the week are Barograph (Duncan) and Waze (Craig).
