Sentech has appointed Protas Phili as its new chief financial officer. He was appointed by communications minister Roy Padayachie for a five-year term beginning on 1 August.
Phili is a chartered accountant who also holds a master’s degree in commerce. With experience in financial management, risk management, auditing, corporate finance, accounting and corporate governance, Phili has worked at Deloitte & Touché, the department of public enterprises and the Auditor General.
He previously held the position of chief financial officer and deputy director-general at the department of rural development & land reform.
