Vodacom Group CEO Shameel Joosub has offloaded shares worth about R6m in the mobile telecommunications operator.
The sale of the shares, which took place on 31 December, the last trading day of 2013, was concluded at a price of R130,87/share. That’s near to Vodacom’s all-time record high share price of R134, which was set the previous day.
Joosub sold 45 946 ordinary shares in Vodacom worth R6 013 012,75, the operator revealed in a mandatory statement to shareholders, issued through the JSE’s Sens news service.
