Vodacom is working with a number of major jobs websites to zero-rate access for job seekers, the mobile operator said on Monday.
The company has launched the NXT LVL (pronounced “next level”) zero-rated careers website.
“The zero-rated website will enable job seekers to browse job sites, upload their CVs and apply for available positions free of charge when accessing Vodacom partner career sites,” Vodacom said.
These career sites include Careers24, PNet, JobMail, Career Jet, Giraffe, Career Junction, SA Learnerships and Indeed.
“Job seekers will be able to spend hours on the Internet looking for jobs free of charge”, said Vodacom chief officer for consumer sales and distribution Jorge Mendes.
The NXT LVL career site forms part of a youth sub-brand within Vodacom which has been created to “allow youth to achieve their full potential by giving them easy access to education and career resources”, the company said.
“NXL LVL will provide affordable products such as data centric bundles to ensure that South Africa’s youth are confidently connected and empowered at all times. NXT LVL will also offer free access to NXT LVL E-school for learners and NXT LVL Discover, our established graduate development programme.”
To access the site, customers must logon to vodacom.co.za, click on “services”, then on “NXT LVL careers”. — (c) 2016 NewsCentral Media
