FNB Connect, First National Bank’s Internet service provider, is extending its “free YouTube” offering to its fixed-line broadband users. Customers registered for FNB Connect Surf can now browse the world’s most popular video site between 7pm and 11pm until August 2012 at no cost, the bank said on Monday.
FNB Connect previously launched a free YouTube promotion for a period of two months and has now decided to relaunch the offer, said Farren Roper, head of products and markets at FNB Connect.
The bank also offers free data in order to access Facebook and Twitter as well as educational website learn.co.za and local university sites between 7pm and 11pm. The service is available to consumers with broadband digital subscriber lines from Telkom.
