A faulty router caused downtime for some Vodacom users in Gauteng on Wednesday.
“We had an equipment failure — a router went down — in Midrand at about 1.30pm,” said spokesman Richard Boorman.
“The engineers had it sorted out within about 30 minutes of the issue coming up,” he said.
“Voice and data services were intermittently affected in Gauteng, and there were some knock-on call setup issues in outlying region.” — (c) 2015 NewsCentral Media
