De Villiers’ current 2,97m Twitter follower tally has seen him move ahead of new Daily Show host Trevor Noah, who has slipped to second with 2,77m.
De Villiers’ team mate Dale Steyn may be the world’s number one test bowler, but his 1,85m followers sees him place second among the Proteas.
