IT services firm Gijima has hired IBM’s former Southern Africa head Hamilton Ratshefola as its new group managing executive, replacing Maphum Nxumalo.

IT services company Gijima said on Thursday that it has been given the green light by the Competition Commission to acquire rival T-Systems South Africa.
Gijima, the IT services group founded by businessman Robert Gumede, has agreed to acquire the South African subsidiary of T-Systems, the IT services arm of German telecoms giant Deutsche Telekom.
