Wandile Tutani has been appointed as chairman of the Independent Communications Authority of SA’s Complaints and Compliance Committee, the broadcasting and telecommunications regulator has announced.
Tutani, an attorney with experience in the technology industry, was named to the position, effective 1 September.
According to the authority, Tutani, who has an MBA, has “extensive knowledge and understanding of legal and government processes” having worked as a business executive for governance in the Auditor-General’s office and as group manager for legal services at Business Connexion.
Tutani will be sworn in by retired judge IWB De Villiers on 28 September. — Staff reporter, TechCentral
