A day after shaking the local Internet market by providing capped digital subscriber line (DSL) users with 18 hours a day of unlimited Internet access, Afrihost has announced it is chopping uncapped DSL prices.
The price of Afrihost’s home uncapped DSL packages will drop by between 20% and 50%. The price cuts follow similar moves by other Internet service providers, including Webafrica.
Afrihost promised the price cuts would not have an impact on the quality of the service. The revised prices takes effect with immediate effect. All new sign-ups and current clients will be charged the new rate from the next billing cycle, the company said. — (c) 2016 NewsCentral Media
