Privately held telecommunications provider Vox Telecom has launched an uncapped voice product for consumers that have fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband.
The product provides unlimited calls to mobile phones as well as national and local fixed lines and certain international destinations for R249/month.
It is only available as an “add-on service” in areas where Vox Telecom has FTTH available.
Vox will assist customers with porting their telephone numbers to the company’s unlimited calling plan, said senior product manager for voice solutions Natalie van der Merwe.
Areas that can get the service currently are Parkhurst, Greenside, Parktown North, Killarney, Riviera, Waterfall, Craighall, Dunkeld, Craighall Park, Atholl, Elton Hill, Winston Ridge and Constantia.
“It will be coming soon to all Telkom fibre suburbs,” Vox said. — © 2015 NewsCentral Media
