It’s less than a week to TechCentral’s big broadband debate — and we still have a few seats available if you want to attend, but you’ll need to RSVP without delay.
The panel discussion, the first in the new TechCentral Debate Series, takes place on Tuesday, 11 May at 3pm at First National Bank’s Conference Centre at 114 Grayston Drive in Sandton (next to the Grayston Southern Sun Hotel). The event should conclude by about 4.30pm. There is no cost to attend.
The Debate Series event will be chaired by TechCentral editor Duncan McLeod and will touch on a variety of hot-button issues, including local-loop unbundling, fixed-line versus wireless broadband, new submarine fibre projects, the capped versus uncapped bandwidth debate, and plenty more.
Audience Q&A will be catered for and encouraged.
Industry leaders, including Cell C CEO Lars Reichelt, Afrihost CEO Gian Visser, Neotel CEO Ajay Pandey and Internet Solutions MD Derek Wilcocks, have agreed to participate in the panel. Independent Communications Authority of SA councillor William Stucke will also take part in the debate and will provide insight from a regulatory perspective.
The Debate Series is sponsored exclusively by Internet Solutions, the converged communications service provider. First National Bank has kindly sponsored the facilities for the event.
Due to limited space, it is essential to RSVP. To do so, e-mail Simone Lipshitz at Headlines, and provide your name, company and contact details. Drinks and snacks will be served after the event for those who wish to network. See you there!
