    Glovent reflects on landmark year and previews 2025 innovationsAs 2024 draws to a close, Glovent Solutions takes a moment to reflect on the incredible journey the company has had throughout the year and to express its gratitude to valued clients and partners.

    This year has been one of transformation, innovation and growth for Glovent, and the company is excited to share some of the key milestones and new technologies introduced to enhance the lives of residential estates and gated communities across South Africa.

    A year of change, growth and innovation

    This has been a year of significant change at Glovent Solutions. The company has undergone extensive internal restructuring, refining its business model and expanding the scope of services it offers to better serve residential communities. Glovent Solutions has emerged stronger, more focused and more committed than ever to delivering cutting-edge solutions for residential estates and gated communities in South Africa.

    Glovent has worked tirelessly to extend its product offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of leading residential estates. Among the key innovations introduced this year, the company is particularly excited to highlight the following:

    • Emergency response at the touch of a button: In response to growing concerns around safety, Glovent Solutions introduced its SOS Suite, which provides three levels of emergency alerts via the Glovent mobile app to ensure swift, effective responses. Individual SOS notifies personal emergency contacts within the community, offering localised support. Community SOS activates alerts and triggers active response within the community from the community guards or guardians. National SOS connects users to a selected central operations centre, providing nationwide coverage and professional responder support.
    • Digital Voting solution: Glovent also launched its Digital Voting solution, designed to automate and facilitate AGMs as well as trustee and board meetings. This solution makes it easier for communities to engage in decision-making processes and ensures greater transparency, accountability and ease of participation. By saving time and reducing administrative burdens, the Digital Voting solution is already making a significant impact to Glovent’s clients.
    • Regional expansion: Glovent continues to provide solutions nationwide, and this year appointed additional representatives across key regions, including the Western Cape, Garden Route and KwaZulu-Natal. This strengthened presence allows Glovent to offer more localised and personalised service to a wider range of communities.

    Looking ahead: what’s coming in 2025

    As Glovent Solutions looks ahead to the new year, the company plans to continue innovating, improving and widening its offerings. Some of the exciting features and enhancements Glovent clients can look forward to in 2025 include:

    • Estate Speedfines management module: A highly anticipated addition aimed at increasing road safety on Glovent estates, the Speedfines module will automate and streamline the presentation, management and collection of estate fines. This tool will help reduce administrative overhead and improve the efficiency of notifying offenders, and will ultimately bring about greater estate road safety sooner.
    • Discounted national speeding fines: In partnership with key partners, Glovent is introducing a new fine notification service that will allow members to receive, view and pay their national speeding fines through the Glovent app at significant discounts. This initiative underlines Glovent’s commitment to providing practical solutions that offer real value to communities.
    • Enhanced facilities booking: Glovent will introduce an enhanced facilities booking feature designed to simplify the process of booking and managing estate communal spaces such as Padel courts and function rooms. The new system will allow residents to easily reserve spaces and will include the added functionality of charging a fee for bookings, making it easier for estates to manage their facilities fairly and efficiently.
