Dimension Data is getting a new CEO for its Middle East and Africa business. Grant Bodley, who has been with the IT services group for the past 15 years, will be taking on the role, with current CEO Derek Wilcocks and current MD Sean Joubert taking up “executive positions” in the global group.
All appoints are effective 1 October, Dimension Data said in a statement on Wednesday.
Bodley, 40, joined Dimension Data in 2000. Prior to being appointed sales director of the Middle East and Africa region in 2012 — the role he currently holds — he headed up the region’s IT outsourcing business.
“Grant has a strong business background, as well as an IT focus, which means he’s able to bridge the gap between IT and business for our clients,” said group CEO Brett Dawson.
“This, coupled with an excellent track record spanning 15 years with Dimension Data, positions him well to successfully lead the Middle East and Africa business.”
