MTN has slashed the price of its video-on-demand service, called MTN FrontRow Club, by a third. The monthly fee is now R119, from R179 previously, the company said in a statement.
The service works on any network, though MTN promises free data for streaming for consumers who use its infrastructure and who are subscribed to a FrontRow Premiere package.
New subscribers are already being charged the lower amount, while current subscribers will be moved to the new price from August.
FrontRow Club offers a range of television shows and movies. It includes a number of exclusive titles, including the drama series Power. MTN said it secured season two of the series just 24 hours after it was first broadcast in the US. – © 2015 NewsCentral Media
