Turns out our speculation was right on the money. Vodacom is ditching its familiar blue and green colours and rebranding to parent Vodafone’s red and white while retaining its name.
A TechCentral reader spotted the Vodacom store in the Fourways Mall in Johannesburg’s northern suburbs sporting the company’s new logo, bearing Vodafone’s famous “teardrop” motif.
The telecommunications operator is widely expected to take the wraps off its new brand image officially at a press conference on Friday afternoon. — Staff reporter, TechCentral
