Glovent Solutions elevates community living in South AfricaGlovent Solutions, a visionary South African technology firm committed to enhancing community living experiences, has announced the integration of advanced features into its market-leading GLOCMS mobile app.

This innovative application, designed specifically for residential estates and communities, continues to set the standard for community management and resident engagement.

An innovative system designed for communities of all sizes, the Glovent CMS (community management system) serves as the backbone platform for the GLOCMS mobile app. This web application empowers management committees with powerful tools for the efficient day-to-day administration of their communities.

Our community mobile app has been proudly developed in South Africa over many years

The GLOCMS mobile application provides a central interface for community members to interact with their management committee and one another, fostering seamless community-resident engagement.

“Our community mobile app has been proudly developed in South Africa over many years, specifically for residential estates and communities,” said Anton Potgieter, CEO at Glovent Solutions. “Our user-friendly GLOCMS app has been meticulously crafted to cater to the unique needs of modern community living, offering a seamless blend of convenience and connectivity at your fingertips.”

Whether you’re a resident looking to stay informed and engaged, a management committee member seeking efficient communication and streamlined operations, or a community admin wanting easy transparent management tools, the GLOCMS mobile app has you covered.

    Power of technology

From instant access to important announcements, visitor and access management, facility bookings, and digital voting, to intuitive features that facilitate seamless interaction with management, the GLOCMS app is designed to enhance the community experience like never before and embraces the power of technology to foster stronger community bonds and elevate the community living experience.

Key features of the GLOCMS mobile app include:

    • Community database management: Property, people, pets and vehicles are managed with many-to-many, self-definable relations. Specific permission-based access for owners, tenants, administrators, estate agents and any other type of relation to the community ensures secure and efficient management of community data.
    • Secure communications: Seamlessly communicate via in-app messaging, e-mail and SMS. Personalise community-specific e-mails effortlessly with the user-friendly drag-and-drop e-mail designer. All messages are secure and tracked for perfect accountability.
    • Helpdesk: Enquiries and support requests are streamlined with the built-in GLOCMS ticketing system. Users receive real-time updates to their issues via the app and engage directly with administrators through an interactive chat feed.
    • Facility bookings: Estate facility management is simplified with GLOCMS’s easy-to-use facility booking tools. Admins maintain oversight of bookings, while members can conveniently reserve and manage facilities according to specified rules. Instant notifications are sent to members for booking approvals and cancellations.
    • Emergency panic button: In emergencies, the GLOCMS app’s integrated panic button allows users to notify and reach out to emergency contacts and also the centralised control room within the community. Administrators can gain valuable insights into emergency incidents through the dedicated backend portal.
    • Visitor management system: The GLOCMS app seamlessly integrates with multiple guard scanner applications to capture and identify visitor information. Visitors can be loaded and invited directly from the app, and administrators can effortlessly oversee visitor access and generate detailed reports for enhanced security.
    • Access control integration: The GLOCMS app integrates with multiple leading access control systems for streamlined management of individual data and access privileges.
    • Utility management: The integrated Utility portal allows users to access consumption and warning information for utilities such as electricity and water, ensuring efficient resource management and timely alerts on usage and faults.
    • Digital voting: The newest addition to the GLOCMS platform is the Digital Voting module. Featuring a progressive web app (PWA), this module facilitates user participation in various meetings, including AGMs, SGMs and trustee meetings. Voting operates according to the community’s established rules and constitution for full compliance with current laws and regulations.
    • White-labelled mobile app: For maximum community brand exposure, the GLOCMS mobile app can also be white-labelled to reflect each community’s unique brand identity with custom logos, colours and design elements.

“The GLOCMS platform and mobile app continues to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our communities, and we have recently enhanced our established presence in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, further solidifying our commitment to serving communities countrywide,” said Potgieter. “As a proudly South African company, we are deeply committed to delivering innovative technology solutions that empower residents and enhance community living experiences.”
