MWeb has moved to appoint a new head of its business division. Debbie Pretorius has been named as the new GM for MWeb Business, the Internet service provider (ISP) said on Wednesday.
Pretorius replaces Andre Joubert, who reportedly left in August to join telecommunications operator Neotel.
According to MWeb, Pretorius has worked in the ISP industry for the past 15 years, most recently as head of MWeb Business’s operational activities where she was responsible for customer support and engineering and technical services as well as project management and service-level management.
Pretorius joined MWeb Business as a financial controller in 1998. “Her intimate understanding of all aspects of the business and the broader market will ensure continuity for our customers,” said MWeb CEO Derek Hershaw. — (c) 2013 NewsCentral Media
