First National Bank has launched its transactional banking application on Windows Phone 8-based smartphones. FNB customers with Windows Phone 8 smartphones and Windows 8 tablets can now make full use of banking services via the app, it said on Thursday.
“The FNB Banking App is now available across all the major operating systems, meaning that users of iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, BlackBerry smartphones and now Windows 8 smartphones and tablets now also have access to the FNB Banking App,” the bank said in a statement.
Earlier this week, FNB announced the addition of share investing with full trading functionality to the app, available in the latest version of the app for smartphones and tablets.
Rewards programme eBucks also became available in the app this week, allowing users to locate their nearest eBucks partner, view reward levels and account balances as well as discount levels.
The additional functionality also applies to RMB’s banking app, which is developed by the same team. — (c) 2013 NewsCentral Media
